Screwfix has expanded its on-demand delivery service, Screwfix Sprint, to 600 stores nationwide, giving more than 62 per cent of the UK population access to rapid delivery.
The Kingfisher-owned brand has continued to scale the service in partnership with courier specialist Gophr, allowing tradespeople and DIY customers to receive tools and materials at home or on site in as little as 20 minutes.
The app-based service provides access to more than 9,000 trade essentials, with customers able to track their orders from collection to delivery.
Screwfix Sprint costs £4.99 per order and has no minimum spend, with the retailer aiming to fulfil deliveries within 60 minutes.
The latest expansion follows growing demand for the service, which has been used by tens of thousands of customers so far this year.
Screwfix managing director for the UK and Ireland Max Britten said convenience remained a key priority for the business, particularly for tradespeople looking to avoid unnecessary downtime.
He said: “We know how important convenience is for our busy trade customers.”
Britten added that expanding the service to more locations was a priority for Screwfix, thanking colleagues and delivery partner Gophr for helping the retailer reach the 600-store milestone.
The expansion marks further growth for Screwfix Sprint, which launched in 2021 and had reached almost 500 stores by May 2025.
Screwfix has been investing in faster delivery and collection options as part of its wider strategy to improve convenience for trade professionals and DIY shoppers.
Earlier this year, it launched a marketing campaign fronted by Olympic champion Sir Mo Farah to promote its delivery and collection services.
The campaign, titled Screwfix Convenience, built on its existing ‘No Stopping You’ brand platform and was designed to increase awareness of Screwfix Sprint, Click & Collect and Check-In services.
Developed with M+C Saatchi Group UK, the activity highlighted the speed of the retailer’s offering, including Click & Collect in as little as one minute.
The latest rollout strengthens Screwfix’s rapid delivery proposition as retailers increasingly invest in fulfilment services that enable customers to access products without visiting stores.
